Why buyers work with us

A factory conversation, not a catalogue conversation

TUYU Camper is the pickup-camper line produced by Bbroot at its Qingdao production base in Shandong, China. We build camper bodies to the buyer's specification — any pickup model, any layout — and keep structure, assembly and parts supply in our own hands, from frame welding through to final assembly.

What we make

Pickup truck campers — pop-top, hard-top and canopy bodies for pickup beds, plus hard-shell roof-top tents — built to order for importers, dealers and private-label brands.

Where we build

A dedicated camper production base in Qingdao, Shandong, with body welding, composite and aluminium assembly and interior fit-out under one roof.

How bodies are made

Welded all-aluminium construction on the off-road and residence models; FRP sandwich composite on the fiberglass models. Both routes are produced in-house rather than bought in as finished boxes.

How fitment works

Bodies are custom-made to the bed or chassis dimensions of the customer's pickup. Installation is non-destructive — bolt-on mounting without cutting the vehicle — so a body can be moved to the next truck.

Built, not bought in

What the construction gives you

Body fabrication through interior fit-out happens on one line, which is what makes custom fitment, third-party inspection and repeat programmes practical.

Structure and bodywork

Integrated welding, panel bonding and box assembly are carried out in-house. Body tolerances, weld quality and insulation are controlled at the source instead of being bought in as finished boxes.

Full-pickup customisation

Any pickup model is supported: the body is made to the vehicle's bed or chassis data, and the interior functions, exterior styling and intended use case are configured per order.

Build to your specification

Bed dimensions, layout, colour scheme, equipment level and branding are confirmed against a written specification before production. The route is the same whether you order one evaluation unit or a full programme.

Parts stay available

Lift mechanisms, windows, hardware and service components come from the same production line as the complete units, so a fleet stays serviceable after the first delivery.

Who we build for

Four buyer profiles, four different order shapes

Tell us which one you are and the specification, MOQ and shipping format are confirmed against that, instead of against a generic price list.

Importers and distributors

Mixed-model container programmes with your own brand on the units and parts support for the fleet you sell.

RV and 4x4 dealers

Retail-ready units across pop-top, hard-top, canopy and roof-tent price points, without a second supplier.

Rental and fleet operators

Units specified for repeated hand-over, with parts availability and consistent build so the fleet stays uniform.

Private-label brands

OEM and ODM programmes where the product carries your brand and your specification, produced on a dedicated part list.

How an order runs

From specification to after sales

Every project follows the same six steps, so you always know what happens next and who is responsible for it.

  1. 01

    Specification

You send the pickup details (make, model, generation, bed or chassis dimensions), the target market and the equipment list. We return a written specification naming the model and the options that apply.

  2. 02

    Quotation

Quotation is issued against the confirmed specification, quantity and destination port. Lead time is stated against that order volume rather than as a fixed number of days.

  3. 03

    Production

Production starts against the approved specification and artwork — body fabrication, interior fit-out, then final assembly. You receive progress records at the agreed checkpoints.

  4. 04

    Inspection

Pre-shipment inspection is carried out, either by your own inspector or a third-party company, before the units are loaded.

  5. 05

    Shipping

Units ship assembled or in shipping configuration according to the model and how you want to receive them at the destination. Roof-top tents containerise as flat packs.

  6. 06

    After sales

Recommended spares kits ship with the first order, and additional parts — lift mechanisms, windows, hardware — are supplied from the same line when your fleet needs them.

Buyer questions

The questions that come up before an order

Fitment, lifting, branding, MOQ, shipping and quality control — answered the same way we answer them in a quotation.

Will your camper fit my pickup truck?

Yes — every body is custom-made to the vehicle. We support all pickup models: send the make, model, generation and bed dimensions (or flatbed/chassis dimensions for the T4 and T5), and we confirm the body length, mounting type and weight before you place an order.

Does installation damage my truck?

No. The bodies use non-destructive bolt-on installation: the unit mounts into the bed or onto the chassis without cutting or welding the vehicle, and can be removed again when the truck is changed. The T5 residence model bolts directly to the frame and is likewise reversible.

Manual or electric roof lifting — which should I choose?

Manual lifting with spring or hydraulic assist is standard across the pop-top range and is entirely adequate for the smaller bodies. Electric scissor lifting is optional on most models and is the recommended choice on the T4 flat-deck and T5 residence bodies, where the roof section is larger and heavier.

What is the difference between the aluminium and FRP models?

Both are produced in-house. The all-aluminium models (T1, T2, T6, H2 and the canopies) use welded construction and suit a technical, off-road positioning. The FRP models (T3, H1) use fiberglass sandwich composite with a smooth painted finish and an insulated core. Construction is an engineering choice per model, not a factory limitation.

Can you produce the campers under our own brand?

Yes. OEM and ODM are both available: your logo and decals on the finished unit, your own packaging and manuals, plus body colour, livery and window count set per order. For larger programmes the interior layout and equipment list are configured to your specification. Artwork and the parts list are confirmed in writing before production starts.
